Your fixed dental implant will consist of two main parts – an implant post to replace your tooth root and provide a stable foundation, and an implant restoration to replace the crown of your tooth or teeth. Implant posts are typically made of titanium or another biocompatible material and are surgically inserted into your jawbone. After the post has integrated with your jawbone, our dentist will work with you to create a prosthetic tooth restoration that will be fixed atop the post and complete your treatment.
